She is right and this might of been her best speech of the campaign.

What is borderline racist about it? It's absolutely true. African-American parents and grandparents have far more to be worried about when it comes to mistreatment by law enforcement

How is that racist? Black people are more likely to face discrimination by the police then white people.

She's exactly right. Charlotte and Aidan Clinton-Mezvinsky will not face the fear of mistreatment by law enforcement that many African-American children face

So it roughly translates to: "because my grandchildren are white, they will get in less trouble with the law." Congrats, Clinton, you've just created a new Trump atrack: "Crooked Hillary Clinton is so racist that at a black church she actually said "because my grandchildren are white, they will get in less trouble with the law." She is saying that Blacks are criminals! Vote for me, what do you have to lose ?!?

And who will this attack ad appeal to?

Democrats don't need to pander to white people who would be offending by this. She knows this, which is why she is being completely honest about this issue.

Exactly. She's not going to win the "policing is never racist!!!!1111!!!!" vote over Trump.

Yup.

Jamelle Bouie just wrote an article about this subject today. http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/cover_story/2016/10/hillary_clinton_s_reverse_sister_souljah_moment.html
