I don't like the director choice BRTD.  Paul Thomas Anderson would do a good job with the right script.

Stephen Root has to be the protagonist.   Phillip Seymour Hoffman would be my second choice.

How about Hugo Weaving as the male On Company representative.  Alright, I have to stop myself here before I write a spec script and book myself a place in hell....

Well, whatever, the real question is whether Bushie himself should be the script-writer.

It'd have to be a hard R dark comedy, and I don't see Bushie writing such a thing.

I'd write it with multiple vignettes flowing into one narrative.  There would be a cold open. Our hero driving down the flat, desolate  landscape, 105 degrees out.  Burl Ives Holly Jolly Christmas plays on car stereo.  I'm thinking a tan 1997 Toyota Corolla...
