If only Alabama hadn't just elected the football coach who doesn't know what the 3 branches of government are to represent them in the Senate, the former Press Secretary who made a living off of lying to the nation could very well have won Arkansas the race to the bottom.

For some reason, several states, both red and blue, like to elect children of governors to the position as well. Andy Beshear, Andrew Cuomo, Jerry Brown, Mitt Romney,...

Romney notably being the child of another state's Governor (before going on to become the Senator from yet another state).
