I am seriously considering running for Lt. Governor of the Midwest in addition to running for Senate. I will not take the Lt. Governorship if I am elected to the Senate.

Um, it states in Section II, Article II, Clause II:
"The governor is allowed to appoint a Lieutenant Governor if it is wished by the governor to have that specific post."
There's no running for the post Wink

Actually, there is, it's just you're the only voter.

Oh well, there's always the senate...
