What recent comments? He's been slamming Dick Cheney (as he should) on the Iraq war and the current mess. And besides, Rand Paul isn't a real libertarian, but he's the best we got out of the GOP.

What is a real libertarian? A rothbardian anarchist?

No, not at all. A real libertarian can be someone like any of the forum libertarians (you, myself, JBrase, Governer PiT, etc.). The reason why I don't consider Paul a real libertarian is because he panders to the core base of the party to make up for his libertarian positions that disagree with the party. He's also very pro-life, anti-SSM, and really is unclear on whether he wants to legalize marijuana. He's the most libertarian a republican can be, but he's not a libertarian.

But seriously, what recent comments are you talking about?
