It's going to cost just as much money in the long run so I don't see it as a slim down. What's terrible is everything that makes our government money such as museums, monuments, and parks is shut down while everything that costs us money is running still. I don't see why the Democrats don't just let the little people have the same healthcare privileges as corporate America and politicians by agreeing with Republicans to let us wait a year to go on Obamacare. The government would be up and running in no time.

They actually fell for and reported a parody report from something called the National Report that claimed that Obama was personally paying to keep open the "International Museum of Muslim Cultures" open  during the shutdown.
