That is bizarre. Never seen that before in any sport.

Cricket has a rope 2-3m in from the fence, mainly to prevent injury.

remember when Cubs fan ruined that dude's life because the Cubs choked a playoff game away and they needed a scapegoat?  sh**tty move from a generally respectable fan base.
