Well to be fair, most who bothered to show up to vote didn't choose him.

Here's the official results from the Kansas Secretary of State website (I don't have 20 posts yet, so I can't provide a link):

(R) Sam Brownback: 433,196 - 49.8%
(D) Paul Davis: 401,100 - 46.1%
(L) Keen Umbehr: 35,206 - 4.0%

Although I wonder how many Umbehr voters preferred Brownback over Davis anyway (probably most would). Would Brownback have won re-election in a hypothetical runoff?
