Well, this is a disappointing turnout. By a vote of 3-0-0, the Whig Party hreby endorses both SPC and TexasDemocrat in the Mideast Assembly Election. Since none of the candidates in the Northeast Special Assembly Election gained a majority of the votes, the Whig Party won't be making any endorsements in that election.

I'm assuming the candidates who are members of the party are already endorsed?

So me & Sjoycefla were talking & decided it might be a good idea to merge the Imperial Bloc & the Whig party. I know this was proposed before & failed but I think that, considering the different political climate, it might now be worthwhile to unite & become one center-right pro-regional rights party with some libertarian leanings. What does everybody else think?

I've just had a look at the voter list to see what people the Imperial Bloc is currently composed of. I don't know all of the party members, but from what I have seen I can say that this is a bunch of people I would like to work with. Therefore, at this point, I'm in favor of a merger.

If I don't hear any objections by the time it's been been 24 hours since I made that post, I will go ahead & officially open a vote on merging with the Imperial Bloc. We will also need to decide on a name for this new merged party. How does the Federalist Party sound?

We should establish regional leaderships.  I'd like to lead the Mideast delegation of the party.

I like that idea. I suppose I would have the Northeast regional leader by default. Tongue

Not necessarily if you don't want it.  That hasn't always been the way it's been in the past.

So if I didn't take the job we just wouldn't have a region leader in the Northeast?

We need leaders at the regional and national level.

That was typo, I meant wouldn't, since I'm the only active member of the Whig party who lives in the Northeast.

Oh, well in that case, for now you wouldn't. Smiley
