1 thousand vote lead in Coast of Bays-Central-Notre Dame for CPC. Lead has been growing all night too. Safe to call it for them I think.

With under 50 votes reporting (so this is worthless and I'm pointing it out just for the funny), BQ incumbent Sylvie Berube is at *sixth* place in her seat of Abitibi-Temiscamingue. New Democrats are currently leading the PPC 40%-29% (or, alternatively, 17 votes to 12).

Are the first results being reported some very specific sort of early vote, or are the generally good performances for the Liberals really just coincidence?
That poll probably came from a native reserve. The bloc's strength is from the southern more populated parts like Val d'Or.

People still lining up 3+ hours to vote. Insane. The kind of thing you expect to see in Texas not Toronto.

Every federal election, BC tells pollsters one thing and votes a whole other way.

Quite a pathetic result for the NDP. A review on his leadership and electoral strategy needs to held.

Which will come first. The redistribution or another election?

Love to see the pollster with the wackiest numbers (LPC +5 nationally! PPC at 10! LPC +16 in ON!) take a victory lap.

If one follows the campaign purely through online polls, which has proven itself to be most accurate once again, instead of volatile IVR/telephone daily trackers then they will find that the campaign barely changed anything. Yes, the Conservatives had a mid campaign surge as reluctant Cons once again realize that the CPC was their only hope of getting Trudeau out, but then they stalled at that level until the end. There never was a last minute Liberal surge either, rather a strategic movement from left of centre forces to support the strongest non-Conservative force that happens nearly every election. One or two more weeks of campaigning wouldn't change anything, most people are less engaged in an election campaign than they ever were!

With 1 million mail ballots to be counted things can and will change a bit. PPC supporters are the most reluctant to vote by mail so expect their numbers to go down a little. NDP could grab Davenport and Vancouver Granville on the back of the mail vote. We shall see.

Anyone have the figures of how many mail-in ballots there are?

What is the likelihood of these mail-in's flipping seats?

1025k mail ballots recieved. Could change the results in nearly every riding not called yet.

With Brome-Missisquoi flipping back to the Liberals, the riding of Québec will continue its streak of voting for the party with most seats in Quebec since it was first contested in 1968 under a different name.
