Look, I come back here expecting to maybe get some slack over Atlasia issues that happened years ago.  I am here because I want to discuss politics, not rehash old issues.  However some of you have greeted me with "Hi Yates" or similar greetings.  I am not Yates.  I did some research via post search and found Walter Mitty's thread about Yates.  In the thread, some of you speculated that I was Yates and I sent messages about me dying.  Your justification for this is that some emails from Yates came from Boca, where I used to live.  I'm not saying that Yates is real or that this forum wasn't tricked.  That's definitely the case.  But it was not me.  Ia m not a sick person who would joke about anything involving cancer, having had a grandfather go through a long on painful ordeal with pancreatic cancer when I was six and seven, and he died from it.  What Yates or whoever it was did was sick and pathetic, and I would never do anything like that.  I'm here because I think you all are great people to discuss politics with.  I stepped into a witch hunt where people are asserting that I would do something like that.  Knock it off, it's insulting.  It wasn't me.

Phil, you know me better than most others on the forum.  Do you think for a second I would do something like this?  Honestly, you know I am busy and active and do you think I would waste an incredible amount of time to pull off what I would consider an act of evil?  Think about it.

You're comparing the harmless exaggerations of a fourteen year old to this?  I come from a politically active family, that is not a lie.  What we're talking about with this Yates situation is a calculated and malicious action.  Sure I used to say things that were stretching the truth, but was I ever rude to anyone on this forum?  Did I ever give any indication that I would seek to emotionally harm the people here?  What I have said compared to what "Yates" did is like comparing a speeding ticket to 9/11 in terms of the level of crime.

The accusation you all are throwing upon me was made without anything other than suspicion and the coincidence that Yates and I were apparently from the same town.  There is nothing else that could possibly make you think I was the one who did this.  It's crazy, and I'm simply in shock.
