Yeah, only NV is bucking the trend... but I'd want to read the cross tabs in these before I make a judgement.

The debates are going to be very interesting, I'm told Romney is an excellent debater... and Obama certainly tends to stumble over his words a bit in that setting.  

...I've...never heard this idea that Romney is an 'excellent debater' before.

The only time that Romney really performed well, as opposed to 'was left standing' was the Debate when Gingrich was surging. Obama isn't as cocky as Gingrich and hopefully won't walk into the trap he did.

Romney will have one-liners prepared, but Obama's people will know that, so he'll have come-backs prepared.

But Romney could do well from this format and Obama needs to focus on being concise.
