Election of lieutenant governors

Same ticket and let the gubernatorial nominee chose his or her running mate. After the primaries, so that a primary opponent can also be chosen. I think a governor should be able to pick his own people in the executive branch. That's also the reason why I support abolishing elections for Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer or any other executive position. They should all be appointed by the governor and confirmed by the respective state senate. And they should serve without a fixed term, with the governor being able to dismiss a cabinet officer. Like at the federal level.
