Ah, the press will seize on the comments, sure, but what about posters on internet messageboards?  Tongue

This reminds me of how Bill Maher said that the 9/11 hijackers were at least "courageous."

I would like to hear exactly what he wants people to do? Which "beliefs and values" are we giving away? And does he believe that conservatives should adopt the methods of our founding fathers to "fight" for them? Should people storm the Supreme Court with guns to stop them from making SSM legal for example?

He isn't wrong. Bill Maher also said they were more courageous than American airmen, which was the vile and absurd part of his statement.

I have nothing against ISIS dying for their beliefs.

It's true, but has really bad optics for media not known for their nuance.

He was clearly saying "we" as a country had not been willing to risks lives but instead relied on cruise missiles, likely specifically referring to how the US retaliated against Al Queda in 1998 with cruise missile strikes instead of sending in troops to kill/capture bin Laden.

He's right, but a not a comparison ISIS (or the founding fathers) would to be a part of and it could damage him in a general election. As for the primary, I'm not sure what it would take to knock Carspon out, other than Ted Cruz truly catching fire, since the doctor seems to be bulletproof.
