I will not vote for Stacey Abrams if she does not visit UGA

Charlie Kirk has done more to earn my vote than her

I have never heard of her Athens events.

I would really like my voice to be heard as Abrams is running a campaign of hearing everyones voices.

Kirk personally assisted me by showing me good brands of adult diapers in case my baby on the way ends up being a fatass. Abrams has done nothing in comparison

Had so much fun at the DPG State Convention today!

The highlight was the crowd chanting "Lock Him Up!" when Hank Johnson gave his speech and talked about Cohen naming Trump as a co-conspirator. He said "Something big is about to go down and his name is Donald Trump".

Lucy McBath and Carolyn Bourdeaux gave good speeches. So did Josh McCall, but my favorite was Francys Johnson. He is a natural with the mic and an audience to rile up.

Charlie Bailey is much more personable than I thought he was.

Of course Stacey Abrams brought down the house, but so did Sarah Riggs Amico. God I hope Abrams's potential coattails can carry Amico over the finish line. I have already designated Amico to be elected Governor after Abrams serves her two terms. Cheesy

Abrams debuted this clip at the convention: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6O8fMzlHMK8&feature=youtu.be

Wow what a video. Incredible stuff.

And yeah, Francys Johnson is a pretty cool dude. I have heard him speak before at UGA and he seemed like a smart & funny man.

Just passed by a booth that was supporting Barrah and one of the AG's, still haven't seen a presence from the Abrams campaign

Edit: Kemp campaign also has a strong presence on campus... literally nothing from Abrams

One way for Abrams to get 80% of 2016 is to have literally any presence whatsoever on the uGA campus. I've seeen farrrr more kemp stuff in just today alone

Why does john barrow have more outreach on campus than abram

I'm going to keep making these annoying posts until I see any signs of life for the abrams campaign on campus

My absentee ballot is arriving soon. Problem is I have no idea who or what 80% of the ballot is.

Brian Kemp was at UGA last saturday.

Where's Stacey at?

Probably calling her donors from New York and California

This attack line doesn't make sense to me because democrats get a lot more small donor donations than republicans

I keep reading this same attack and it's making me want to vote Abrams now

Can someone explain to me what these constitutional amendments / ballot referendums mean? I don't understand any of them.

I'm leaning towards voting "no" on all of them because I don't trust them.

Obvious voter suppression against rural whites. Glad to see you reporting this very important information!

Can't wait to see your GA gubernatorial "model" on election night, it just worked so well in Alabama last year!

I think that saying about glass houses applies here...

My 2016 presidential prediction was the 3rd most accurate on Atlas, thank you very much.

Huh, really? I'll take your word for it I guess. How'd you go from that to overestimating Republicans by 10+ points in every election?

According to this forum circa October 2016, I was overestimating Republicans by 10 points. Basically, I knew there was a shy Trump vote that the polls weren't picking up, just like there's a shy GOP vote the polls aren't picking up. This will look far more like 2002 than 2010.

So, you're saying Democrats won't be making significant gains this year? Is there always gonna be a "shy GOP vote" now?

Absolutely, at least until Trump leaves office.

Why wasnt there a shy GOP vote in VA Gov, AL Senate, and PA? These were all races you got wrong by 10 points

How are you guys voting on the amendments? I’m definitely voting yes on 1, probably no on 2-4, and probably yes on 5

No on everything

AJC has a new poll out exclusively of women tomorrow.

I have an idea. They can partner with the AARP and get a solid majority of the electorate.

More likely they would do the opposite, and poll only female Seniors. Just what we need, a poll of only female Seniors!

How about we throw Latino decisions into the fray as well.

Didn't a decent amount of black people in rural areas cast absentee ballots? Their vote might not be counted until later, and that could switch some of the black belt counties to Abrams

I thought you would like John Barrow. He is a great guy. Not sure why an "Indy" is supporting Brad.

Honestly, I don't mind Barrow. I just have been really turned off by how sore of a loser many Abrams supporters have been after the election.

I mean that's fine (Abrams took too long to concede), but that shouldn't carry over to who you support for SoS. Barrow is considerably different from Stacey Abrams.

My non-Atlas prediction was 54-46 (I rounded on here to keep things simple), and it's increasingly looking like that's where it'll end up. Barrow is doing better in most heavily-white areas and non-ATL metro areas, but bombing most everywhere else.

He actually might be doing better in Atlanta (he's doing better than Abrams so far in Fulton)? And he's doing better than Abrams in the black belt. DeKalb isn't gong too bad either.

Literally the only place he's doing worse is around Atlanta. For some reason, Cobb, Henry, etc. decided to hate Barrow.

At any rate, the theme of tonight seems to be:

  • Barrow is doing better than Abrams in virtually every urban area
  • Barrow is bombing compared to Abrams in suburban areas
  • Barrow is doing better/worse than Abrams in rural areas depending on how many minorities live there (the more minorities, the worse he's doing)

Again, he's doing better than Abrams in most of the black belt.

Sure, in areas with large concentrations of minorities (and the Black Belt deserves an exception) - but in areas that are substantially white majority (with some exceptions), he's generally doing better relative to Abrams in areas where the white share of the population is higher (say, 85%) than in areas where it's lower (65%).

Ok but he's also doing better in the black belt than Abrams, so it's dumb to say Barrow is losing because of rural black people.

The blame seems to be among white subarbanites (and maybe black subarbanites) around Atlanta.

It's pretty funny that these days, even in a bad performance, Dems are still carrying Gwinnett County and almost carrying Cobb County.

Smiley But I'm sure they'll flip back in 2020 when Trump inevitably rebounds in the suburbs! Smiley

It's actually possible that Barrow does better than Abrams overall while doing 13 pts worse in Gwinnett county.

Not sure wtf happened here, lol.

Does anyone have any idea why Barrow did so horribly around Atlanta, but at the same time did better than Abrams in Fulton and Dekalb?
