Primarying Elizabeth Warren in MA is the dumbest sh*t I've ever heard. Such childish stupidity.

Since the overwhelming majority of Sanders-backed candidates lose, he'd probably be doing her a favor.

Elizabeth is untouchable in MA, they want her as their Senator and that's why she came in third in MA presidential primary, they want her to represent them forveva eva, foreva eva.

The Bros heckling her during the 2016 DNC with "We trusted you!" should have been enough when she endorsed *gasp* Crooked H. Give the woman a break. We know her heart is with Bernie but her mind is with Biden. She sees the writing on the wall and knows that Bernie is done for but isn't going to endorse until he drops out or until the convention, whichever comes first. I doubt her endorsement of Bernie now would have that much sway in the remaining states anyway. The primary is basically over and it's time for Democrats to unite to get the temper tantrum throwing toddler out of office.

Anyways, this is stupid and I'm glad the great men and women of Atlas Forum are laughing at this.

Just going to leave this here.

Alternatively, I could argue just as easily that informing the people of America is part of his duties as a Senator (and a national figure). Considering a cloture vote requires 60 votes, I don't see the big deal.

And voting against cloture or missing the vote has the same outcome.

I agree but it's still disheartening that, if Biden were an incumbent Senator right now, there'd be many a hypocritical Bernie supporter attempting to drag him over the coals for missing a vote so he could hold a digital town hall.

Bernie is the one that needs to retire and let Zuckerman have his seat not Warren. Markey will lose, due to fact he is not front and center on this virus, Kennedy is

Yes: because such an effort, which would be doomed to fail, would further decrease his standing and political capital, pushing him further to the irrelevant fringes than he already is.
