Assume you are referring to former TX Senator Phil Gramm.

The old-school TX establishment definitely is not a fan of Cruz

Although to be fair, Gramm was as much of a dystopian dick as Cruz back in the day.

What a waste of an endorsement, seriously.

FL Gov Rick Scott "all but endorsed" Donald Trump, writing a gushing op ed about him in USA Today

While not a full endorsement, it is kind of a big deal. So far Trump doesn't have a single endorsement from a sitting governor, senator or congressperson.

Another person who has come close to endorsing Trump is Sen. Jeff Sessions, who appeared at a Trump rally and supposedly wrote Trump's immigration plan.

I think if Trump wins NH, the Tea-party friendly types of GOP office holders will start to openly endorse Trump.
