And we will happily enjoy the November 6th celebration! Face it, this election was about Romney winning seniors by a HUGE margin and running on a medicare repeal platform makes it impossible. The Dems odds of winning the House aren't great but probably just went from about 10% to 30%. Ryan might gain a point in Wisconsin but Obama will still win there and likely shaves off a couple points in Florida, which Romney has no path without.

Framing it as "making tough sacrifices for your grandchildren" could help a bit here. It won't neutralize the effects of the Ryan pick, but it's definitely an interesting spin.
