PAX 8%
Montfortian 5%

----------------------------

After months of showing a consistent decline in Tmth's standing, our poll shows that Tmth has remained stable during the month of May. His approvals stand at 56%, statistically the same as the 57% rating held at the beginning of the Month. His VP's approvals have however declined dramatically in the aftermath of the Matthew27 recall, going from 79% to 67%.

Tmth fares well in other related questions - Voters agree 44%-33% that his presidency has improved the life of the average Atlasian and agree 67%-13% that Tmth is better at being President than Weatherboy was.

Tmth has announced that he will not run for re-election, and voters approve of this decision by 46%-23%. If Tmth were to run again, our survey finds that Griffin would lead him 51%-44%, with 3% for Kingpoleon. This is a decline for Tmth from last poll's 46%-46% tie, though that was before Kingpoleon entered the race.

Currently, the most likely scenario for the Presidential Matchup is Griffin vs YT vs Kingpoleon. Our survey finds a five point lead for Griffin, 49%-44% with Kingpoleon receiving 3%. If Kingpoleon is not offered as a choice, Griffin leads by 3%, 49%-46%. This represents a massive gain for YT, who trailed by 21 points at the beginning of May, however Griffin remains the definite favorite in the race.

Activity doesn't matter. You've proposed unpopular policies that everyone hates. If anything you're lucky to have an approval rating as high as 28%.

Yeah, as bad as 28% is, it's not the lowest ever - that would be Weatherboy, whose approvals were found to be just 13% back in January.

Actually, if I recall correctly, DemPGH (Unfairly! He was ultimately vindicated) had an approval rating even lower than WB after the Thursday Night Massacre, reaching some ungodly level like 8-9% in one poll.

Well, he wasn't. Attempts at silly historical revisionism aside, SirNick being awful doesn't excuse DemPGH being incompetent and leading us to ruin and civil war, and alongside Tyrion more than deserves a place amongst "worst Presidents" ever.

(That aside I think the actual record belongs to "Napoleon", who once polled 11%)

The fact that the President was put in the hot-seat for firing somebody who literally tried to kill him (in-game), cause global meltdown and who later deleted copious amounts of legislative record was arguably one of the dumbest moments in this game's history - especially when there was clear evidence at the time that the GM was acting maliciously. I suppose we all ended up paying the price for those machinations in the form of what came after, which was very unfortunate, but those initially cheering for his head played just as much of a role - if not more - than any President at the time.

Wow, so WB managed to get twice the approval in only 1 month. Had he ran for reelection and won he would now have very high approvals lol
