I don't think the UN is doing this for the right reasons. They just want to make sure Obama doesn't lose through a rigged election.

Considering that the US was the first of the modern day republics, why am I not surprised to see Democrats cheering other nations telling the US what to do? GTFO, UN.

You're (unsurprisingly) using faulty logic there.

Switzerland was a republic before the United States. The Dutch and Venetian Republics were on their last legs of existence, though.
