Improving The Chain Of Command Amendment

The Constitution of the Northeast Region shall be amended as follow:

Section

1. Had the Governor been absent for more than three days without a prior notice, the Lieutenant Governor  shall automatically assume powers and duties of the office
2. Had the Governor not posted on Atlasia boards for more than three days without being absent, the Lieutenant Governor shall be required to held an emergency vote in the Assembly to determine, whether the Governor shall be temporaily suspended
3. The Governor shall be able to resume his powers and duties by written a declaration
4. Had the Governor continued to be absent for more than two weeks without a prior notice or inactive for the same period of time, her or his mandat shall be terminated and the Lieutenant Governor assume the office for reminder of the term
5. Had the office of Lieutenant Governor been vacated at the time of the Governor's absence or inactivity, the Speaker of the Assembly shall be given powers described in sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 with exception that she or he shall become Governor until special election is held within two weeks

Section 2

1. Had the Lieutenant Governor been absent for more than three days without a prior notice, the Speaker shall automatically assume powers and duties of the office
2. Had the Lieutenant Governor not posted on Atlasia for more than three days without being absent, the Speaker shall automatically assume powers and duties of the office until Lieutenant Governor resuming his powers by written declaration, being recalled or resignation

Amendment to Restore Sanity

The Constitution of the Northeastern Region shall be amended as follow:

1. The Lieutenant Governor of the Northeastern Region shall be elected by popular vote every four months.
2. Had the office fall vacant with more than a month before the end of the term, a special election shall be held.
3. A special election shall be held no earlier than a week and no later than two weeks after the vacancy was created.
4. Had the office fall vacant with more than a month before the end of the term, the Governor shall nominate the new Lieutenant Governor with advise and consent of the Assembly, which process shall not take longer than one week.
5. The Lieutenant Governor shall not serve at any other position within the Northeast Government.
