Even the results are unsurprising, it is a low energy election.

IDK, Sev winning by one vote or the Lincoln result don't seem "unsurprising" to me.

Blairite got a share of first preferences so large it had not happened in an at-large congressional election (by my count) in almost five years, that is notable in its own way.

Since Illiniwek in 2017, yeah.

Which in raw vote terms is still smaller than two I've gotten in the past (at the peak of the YT electorate)! Something something degrowth.
