Lieberman refuses to rule out running as an Independent

That statement alone I find questionable. Is he trying to say that our soldiers struggle in Iraq is not worth our attention?

Support the troops, bring them home alive.

But is the battle they fight "not worth our attention"? Regardless of whether you support their mission or not.

I assume he's saying that it's diverted our attention away for more important stuff domestically. Kinda saying we could get more done if we hadn't gone to war.
