The photographer behind images depicting Border Patrol agents on horseback told KTSM things are not exactly what they seem when it comes to the photos.

The photographs, which were taken Sunday, appear to show agents on horses with a whip in hand. The photos caused outrage because from certain angles, it appears to show Border Patrol whipping migrants, but photographer Paul Ratje said he and his colleagues never saw agents whipping anyone.

Did you even see the past 4 posts? There is no proof they actually whipped anyone at all even with their fake whips.

They didn't.  It's a lie that people want to believe.  Just imagine if someone you love had their lives ruined for a lie of that nature.

I don't want to be that Texan stereotype but, the items being brandished by the officers in the picture were the reins, not a lasso. And lassos are not used for whipping things. Whips are.

 They seem to enjoy harassing some people and rewarding that behavior with a promotion. It was like the Florida Sheriffs and Law Enforcement groups who said they would hire anybody accused of police misconduct in another state.
