Mine would be:

- Stop running Beto O'Rourke for every election. He was exciting in 2018, now he's just a perennial candidate.

- Deemphasize gun control. It sucks, but most Texan voters love their guns, even after Uvalde.

- Keep playing those horror stories like Kate Cox's and emphasize that Republicans are anti-freedom.

- Actually organize voter registration in major cities and stop going to rural counties. Lack of a ground game is the main reason Democrats often poll well until it's actually time to vote.

This is a reasonable post and is productive.   Not the bedwetting and doomster ones that make you look ridiculous.

If the 60 days away from Atlas creates this kind of thought (and I agree with much of your commentary here), the ban was worth it.

- Run latino candidates moderate on guns
- On guns: focus on mental health checks, not on banning AW
- Tournout operations in the big cities and maybe in the Panhandle.
- Campaing agaisnt gerrymandering
- Run agaisnt the current state abortion legislation
- On energy: try to be seen as less anti oil and more pro non oil (nuclear included). Also, run in favor of public transportation.
- Talk a bit about farm programs and farmer rights, at least to appeal rural latinos.
- Avoid any defund the police rethoric, somehow run agaisnt Fentanyl

Dems are losing control of the senate no matter what, Texas may as well keep a voice that will be in the majority.

Run socially moderate hispanic Democrats, ideally veterans and/or those with law enforcement backgrounds.

That doesn't even make sense.

Massachusetts Democrats should disband and endorse John Deaton. They should get a voice in what will be the majority.

The one GOP primary poll for MA-SEN currently up on Wikipedia has 89% undecided. Deaton and Antonellis are tied for first place with - wait for it - 4% each  Tongue It's really anyone's race to win.

I think I saw that; I broke the tie in favor of the fundraising.

Even if we accept your peculiar premise, why should the entire state party of a fairly swingy state dissolve over one Senate race?
