What race calls have been botched in the past. That is races that were called prematurely for the eventual loser.

On the Senate side:

GA-SEN 1980
FL-SEN 1988 (by some)
GA-SEN 1992
NH-SEN 1996
WA-SEN 2000 (premature call, but not wrong winner)
GA-SEN 2008 (premature and wrong call by FOX News, I believe — race was called for Chambliss on election night but would go to a runoff)

Presidential races (FL and NM by all, the others by at least some):

MD-PRES 1980
MA-PRES 1980
IL-PRES 1988
MD-PRES 1988
FL-PRES 2000
NM-PRES 2000 (premature call, but not wrong winner)

CA-21 2018 was initially called for Valadao by AP.

I think FL was incorrectly called for Ford in 1976 by some networks.

Even though the calls for AZ president and NJ-07 in 2020 were correct in the end, both were premature and there was a period where it looked like they could be wrong.

AZ in particular was awful. They called it early when Biden was by 10 and were predicting Biden would by 15. He won by 0.1

I remember that Gwen Graham was called as the winner of the 2018 FL-GOV primary, only for Andrew Gillum to end up winning instead. That was quite consequential.

I think one network incorrectly called Lacy Clay as the winner over Cori Bush in 2020.

I believe CNN called IL-13 for Betsy Londrigan in 2018 and she ended up losing.

An alternate history with Graham winning the governorship could be quite interesting.

I think I remember DDHQ calling the 2016 Democratic primary in Michigan for Clinton even though she never led in the vote count.

Ackchually, He won AZ by 0.3

Anyway, I raise you 1992 when GA was projected for Clinton within minutes of the polls closing (It was the first state NBC called in that election). It ended up going for Clinton by 13k votes and a 0.6 margin

Which she most likely would have done.

Would have been nice if the Dem establishment put as much effort into helping Graham win that primary as they did trying to stop Bernie in 2016 and 2020.  Dems would probably have three or four more House seats today.
