Immediate family and mom's side of the family are definitely FFs. We all get along perfectly.

My dad isn't on speaking terms with many of his relatives who have disrespected him, my mother, me and/or our family as a whole on various occasions. I was browsing Facebook the other day and found out that several of my cousins had defriended me and my mother over a personal dispute that I didn't even know had taken place. We could be arguing about anything from money to someone not going to someone else's kid's baptismal dinner. Going to weddings and funerals is just a really mentally and emotionally draining experience.
