How did it take so long for someone to notice this? It literally takes about two weeks max for people to charge someone with plagiarism here.

Rumors on twitter that Schweitzer might get in now.

If Schweitzer does get in, he must be getting a pretty sweet deal from the DSCC. A chairmanship of something visible perhaps?

Can't see Feinstein getting excited over the prospect of serving with Schweitzer

The prospect of losing her chairmanship is probably more imperative to Feinstein than serving with Schweitzer.

Come to think of it, Schweitzer's gaffes may be enough to convince him that he needs a legitimate venue to stay on the national stage, especially if he wants to run for President.

The thought of someone getting an advanced degree for a short paper that was entirely plagiarized  still boggles my mind.

Yeah, I think that's the real crime here. How could a professor let that go?

Isn't there a committee that checks that thesis? And didn't they already have plagiarism software? How did all of that happen to fail?
