Why would Biden want to end a conflict that is weakening a geo-strategic obstacle in Russia, increasing demand for weaponry, and lowering the global supply of both grain and oil? The only real question from his perspective is whether the country can reshore sufficient resources fast enough to stem inflation before he loses re-election and Trump gets to reap the benefit of a consensus policy.
