Hobbes Concedes Race

Mr. Hobbes (CDP-CA) conceded the District Five Senate race to incumbent liberal Senator Gabu today, shortly after the Ebowed News Network projected a Gabu victory for the seat.

"We went up against Beltway Gabu with an underfunded, below the radar, power to the people campaign," Hobbes told supporters at the Gabriel Valley Motel Six where the Christian Democrat's headquarters were throughout the race.

"We stood up for working class values and working class policies, for protecting our moral security and creating a pro-family tax code.

"I congratulate Senator Gabu on his victory, but I'd also like to point out that there are storms of change coming in District 5.

"God bless."

An amazing run, Mr. Hobbes. I don't think anyone expected you to come this close. Please run again. It would be great to serve with you.

As a fellow Christian Democrat, I'm saddened you will be not joining us in the Senate, but I wish you well in any future political endeavours Smiley

Your campaign has been among the most impressive come-from-behinds I have ever seen, and I strongly encourage you to try your hand at running for Pacific Governor or Lt. Governor next time.

I agree - let's not have another uncontested Pacific Gubernatorial race! Cheesy
