Has anyone interviewing them asked them to? My dad hasn't condemned the PP shooting either, but no one has asked him about it.

Yes, yes.  Candidates should not speak unless spoken to.

I'd be willing to bet many of them also haven't condemned the shooting at Tennessee State University either, or the Armenian genocide, etc etc.

How many of them have even been on the campaign trail the last two days?

Obama talked about the same thing though, only to break his promise for obvious geopolitical reasons. This is just one of those things that candidates do to make people like them.
