Gentlemen, we need a convention site.

I highly recomend any of the following:

Kansas City
Pittsburgh, PA (I know it has been done by pretty much every major party, but I think it is a good region for our party)
Oklahoma City
Buffalo, New York
Richmond, VA
Any of the big three Ohio cities
Indianapolis
Memphis
Salt Lake City (if we want to go really stereotypical)
Nashville, TN
St. Louis, MO
Minniapolis/St.Paul

Little Rock is dreary and corrupt.  There is probably no place where I would want to have the convention less than Little Rock.  Plus, it is not a realistic site; it is difficult to get to, and it is kinda small for a convention.

I guess you know the area better than I do.  I chose these sites because they were in states that I saw as being populist-leaning.

What do you think about the others I mentioned, though?

Heh, acctually, I have never been to Little Rock, but I know quite a few people who used to live there.

If you want to go for a site that is kinda a "lost hope" city, then I would go with Buffalo.  That's why I suggested it.  Old manufacturing city.  Good work ethic, but in major decline over recent... well pretty much the whole last half-a-century.

Also, I like Kansas City.  The whole "Heartland" thing gets our message accross pretty well, but then again, we could do that in any mid-west city.

The challenege for us will be to prove that we are not a party that only focuses on traditionally "populist" areas, but have solutions for the cities as well, and that is why I favor a Northeastern site.
