I advocate a city in the South, as it seems to be a region where we derive the most support.  So, in addition to those already mentioned by Supersoulty, here are my suggestions:

Charlotte, North Carolina
Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina
Charleston, South Carolina
Mobile, Alabama

I guess you know the area better than I do.  I chose these sites because they were in states that I saw as being populist-leaning. 

What do you think about the others I mentioned, though?
