I can't help but wonder who would win the Dem primary to replace Inouye next year, had he not passed.

It would probably be Tulsi Gabbard

He specifically and clearly wanted Hanabusa to be his successor

Lol, maybe she'd have had a better shot in a primary where he's alive and has endorsed her to succeed him. But in general, I refer to you what Brewer said.
