We all lead a life of sin. Jesus is the only person ever who did not.

Methinks you are missing his point.

Let's see, BRTD professes Christianity while really believing in opebal infallibility

LOL. No I do not believe opebo is in any way infallible.

Oh, yes, you do.

You're not getting the point--you claim to be a Christian, but you're not living the way a Christian should--you haven't renounced your sinful lifestyle.

Further, you seem to using the fact that we're all sinners as a means of excusing/justifying/not renouncing that lifestyle.

Officepark is a kind of guy who'd vote for Ted Bundy just to vote against BRTD or opebo.

Uh, I'm pretty sure I'd vote NOTA in that case.

(I was tempted to roll my eyes at that statement, but I know better now)

See, posts like these are exactly the reason why I avoided the roll-eyes emoticon.

What is 20RP12 rolling his eyes at, anyway? At my saying that I'd vote NOTA?

As I said before officepark, I don't care about or strive to be a "better Christian" than anyone else. Funnily this kind of ties into part of pastor's sermon today about how he often got pretty upset at other Christians (though it sounded like it moreso for being self-righteous and ego-filled) but how as the covered chapter in Ephesians stated, we need to get along anyway and can't let anger and hate consume us. Which is EXACTLY what I was struggling with until a few months ago too. I mean I think a lot of other churches and groups promote sin in their attitudes toward homosexuals, and don't even get me started on your church (and no, I'm not even talking about pedophile priests but rather established policies of the church that I see as sinful), but it's not my place to judge, and back when I was judge it certainly wasn't helping me in any way. I am SO thankful to God for helping free me of that and am so glad for it to be gone. It's a massive burden that's no longer there.

Here's a verse that I've quoted a lot because I really should've listened to long ago:

I advise you heed it too. What do you think you accomplish with your "HA THIS PROVES YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN!" posts anyway? For the record they do not offend me. And true to above, I bear no grudge toward you.

I don't think you do, or jmfcst, but officepark does seem to have a chip on his shoulder regarding me and constantly jumps on every opportunity to scream "AHA SEE YOU ARE NOT A CHRISTIAN!" including over some pretty mild things that only prove by the standard of Insane Troll Logic (my poll about a state church for example).

I'm curious to see the list of sins tallied against me by this board.  I am sure it will include sleeping with my wife, being an integrated member of society, and living a facultative carnivorous lifestyle.

You monster.

...and you don't even want to know what I'm like during full moon. Wink

I'll concede that there's nothing inherently anti-Christian about that, but your reasons for supporting it (such as it being easier to promote un-Christian values with a state church than without one) definitely are.
