1. Hugo Black
2. Oliver Wendell Holmes
3. John Marshall Harlan II
4. John Marshall
5. George Sutherland

Thomas, Van Devanter, Black, Story, and Strong

If you wish you may replace Strong with one of the three remaining "four horsemen". He's there mainly because I admire his devout Christianity.

What the...?  *vomits*  May I ask your rationale for this?  Because there have been plenty of better conservatives on the court than this guy.
