I was informed by short notice I have to give a presentation on Thursday regarding political division in democracies according to demographic trends and such, due the very short time at hand and the fact that I have other stuff to prepare as well I don't have time to explore the internet for the proper maps.

I'm looking for:
- a map that shows the political division in Poland (and then a map showing Poland and the Russian-Prussian borderline passing through it circa 1870)
- a map showing the divide in voting patters between the more protestant Northern Germany and the Catholic south and Bavaria
- a good map showing the north-south divide in England.

Your assistance will be held at the highest regard. (btw not sure if this is the correct sub-forum so sorry in advance to the mods)

Map shows the Conservative lead over Labour (or vice versa) for each official English Region at the 2010 General Election. Note that the Tories had a large lead in 2010: in England the Tories polled 39.6%, Labour 28.1%, LibDems 24.2% (the gap was obviously smaller across the whole UK).

Nice compilation!

The description of Election results by gminy is not 100% correct though:
(3) should be changed from "Territories of the Prussian Empire, that belonged to Poland before the partitions" to "Territories of Prussia that Poland gained after WWI".
These terms coincide up to some degree, but not totally:
- Warmia was Polish before the partitions but remained German until 1945; their are further small differences regarding the Western border of Eastern Prussia before 1772 and after WWI.
- The are some border districts that before 1772 belonged to Poland, but that from 1922 on formed the German "Grenzmark Posen-Westpreußen".
- On the other hand some parts of Upper Silesia that were Prussian already before the partitions of Poland came to Poland in 1922.
