I would sign up to volunteer to assist the incoming American refugees.
Those that would be leaving the U.S. would be the lazy deadbeats who want handouts!  The hard workers and law abiders would be staying here!
The lazy, uneducated white Americans are voting for Trump because he will keep their handouts, but good luck if you aren't white. For them, it's the best of both GOP and DEM worlds. Meanwhile, the productive, educated, intellectual whites will of course be coming our Trudeaupian utopia, along with them hard working illegal Mexicans.

I wouldn't be too shocked, but it would probably trigger some existential dread and despair in me. I would also begin the immigration process to Canada, and encourage my friends to leave the country as well, if only for their safety.

I imagine it's how some Germans felt seeing the rise of Hitler. Godwin's law and all that, but it's honestly how I feel.

I would lose all faith in this country, move to another country to stay safe from the impending doom, and then (from a distance) watch him make America f***ed up again.

If he wins, I will be a little worried, but he will be tough on immigration. However, I still may be worried. He's a bit of a loose cannon, but he tells it like it is, which is what some people like. However, a lot of people may leave the country, including some actors. One of the leading actors of that new movie Suicide Squad, Joel Kinnaman, said that if Trump were to win in November, he would move back to Sweden, his home country. Now, some Trumpites may like for actors like Kinnaman to leave the U.S., due to the fact that Hollywood is liberal leaning.

About like the moderates in Egypt felt 5 years ago when the religious voted in the muslim brother hood....Or Turkey under the current dictator(president). WE've been very lucky for the past 100 years that these people didn't come out to vote and now we're screwed.

I'm considering leaving either way (unless Johnson pulls off the upset). I have my Italian passport ready.

At this point? Literally suicide. I have little money and am in Georgia, and thus have no other means of escaping the country, and refuse to live in a country run by Trump.

I'd have to consider what my options were for possibly getting accepted into a Canadian/European graduate program. It wouldn't be an immediate decision, but I'd monitor the situation very closely and be ready to start taking action to get out the minute things started to actually go off the rails. (Possibly violent) oppression of various people would be a very distinct possibility, and I'd rather be gone before I'm one on the list.

My mind can't even go there.

I'm stuck on the belief that Trump is going to flame himself out way before the election.

Considering that I will have nothing to live for as a serf, slave, or political prisoner -- death will be the end of my problems. Get the dog out of the house and start the hibachi.

As Hillary said, we need to give Trump an open mind and a chance to lead. But I suspect things will be bad enough that I will flee the country before the midterms.

Celebrities could easily move, but...they'd risk their homes, popularity, and so much.

Us ordinary people, it's hard for us to move but we don't have much left to lose in America compared to them.

Looking forward to the inevitable showdown between Trump and Boehner/McConnell.

And for Trump to absolutely crush them.

Well, my prediction didn't hold up too well.

After all, I should've realized that there'd be no way for John Boehner to survive this long.

Trump will keep on winning, vanquishing all opposition within the GOP Establishment.

I'm giving Trump a chance to do some of the things in the 100 day plan. I understand Trump was more putting on a show with his rhetoric. Also SJW tears are delicious.

If I had the means, I'd be in Vancouver by the end of the year.

As it stands, I'm not entirely ready to give up yet. We have a chance in two years to make progress. If Democrats can't make progress in 2018, I think California should look to independence.
