There is no “inner city Gahanna.” It’s not Whitehall.

I knew there was an inner city Gahanna:

or at least one near it

Bagel, please knock off the trolling. Thank you. —Mod.

I'll leave the commentary out of it (yall already know what I think) but I believe it is important and good contribution for people to see these benchmarks:

538 has both 2012-based and 2016-based benchmarks, which I think is a great idea since many special elections have mirrored 2012 results more closely.

It's funny to think that less than two years ago Danny did not even win the part of Franklin in Ohio 12th, and now it is his powerhouse.

It's at best premature to bring it up today, and given your history in this thread it sure comes across as trolling.  If Balderson wins, bring it up tomorrow.

Ok ok ok guys chill, sheesh, all I was saying is if Balderson wins what sort of issues do you think he'd like to delve into via committee and stuff, I'll wait and see what happens, just speculating.

Ok shifting back the conversation back to more relevant info for now, what are your guesses for overall county breakdown tonight? I think Franklin will be around 35% and Delaware around 27% but I don't know enough about the other counties.

Early reports of average turnout in Ohio's 12th congressional district suggest dead heat for Balderson (R)

That's fairly realistic too, turnout is looking average to slightly high which points towards a dead heat race.

Also is Husted or any of the individual county boards reporting turnout throughout different points in the day? If so does someone have a link please?

High turnout in Dublin:

If I recall correctly, this is a fairly blue area where Danny needs to run it up right?

I know we got some other primaries today, do any of them close before this race? Cause if they do it'd be fun to have something to watch.

Guys, whatever happens, I want to say that I'm not very satisfied with this election. We did not try our very best and we did not get the best candidate possible. I feel like a quality candidate like Andy Ginther would be figuratively skewering Balderson on a Dagestani kabob if he was our nominee.

Hey I got someone who agreed with me, regardless of outcome, I feel like we could have gotten a better candidate like ginther or that jay goypal dude. I feel like they would be ahead in the polls, and have a better operation than O'Connor.

I don't know enough about the candidates to know who might have done better here, but I do wish it hadn't waited until the last moment to get close.

I share that sentiment
