The amendment fails 2-5, 5 being a majority while we have 9 Senators.

The said amendment being disposed of, we move on to the motion of cloture.

Please vote aye, nay or abstain on the motion of cloture.

If this cloture vote fails, I would like to propose an amendment striking Section 5 from this bill.

Final Vote on Cloture
(Two-thirds in favour needed to pass)

Aye: 5 (BrandonH; Sam; DWTL; PBrunsel; Phil)
Nay: 4 (Ebowed; Lewis; Al, Rob)

The two-thirds majority requirement has not been met, therefore the motion of cloture fails.

Debate remains open on the bill and Sam's proposed amendment.
