The question is as in the title. It's something that I've been curious about for a while, in regards to knowing what other people think. The networks that I am referring to are NBC, CBS, ABC, and Fox. And I am talking about their news operations (i.e. morning and evening news broadcasts, investigative programs). For me personally, ABC is at the top of the list. They seem to have a driving focus on fluff, on lifestyle/fashion topics, on "extreme" weather, on entertainment news, and on the mundane. They hype up everything, including serious disaster or accident stories, as well as political stories.

ABC is absolute garbage that I refuse to watch, so I'll vote for them.

CBS is the best though

I agree with this. CBS is the most "serious" in tone of the major broadcast networks, while NBC is somewhere in the middle. Fox (the broadcast network) does not have a national news operation, unless if you were to take into account Fox News (which is a separate network).
