I just heard this on MSNBC, and those three deaths were evidently medical emergency/natural deaths.

3 people had natural deaths on the same day in the Capitol?

If one dies from a heart attack because of the coup attempt, does that count as a natural death?

I'm guessing it's something like that.

Still hard to process, roughly 24 hours later, everything that has happened. A president of the United States inciting a mob assault on the United States Congress, in an effort to prevent the transfer of power. I've long been reluctant to call Trump the worst president in the history of this country, given the failure to prevent the Civil War by Buchanan, and the sabotaging of Reconstruction by Andrew Johnson, but what happened yesterday would be like if Buchanan had encouraged South Carolina to fire on Fort Sumter. It's just in a completely different category compared to any action by any prior president, an utter betrayal of the country, bordering on literal treason.

The people who enabled this chaos need to either start atoning for their actions by taking an active role in bringing this presidency to an end, or else resign and let the people who are willing to end it do their jobs.

Vice President Mike Pence became uncharacteristically angry on Wednesday during the siege on the Capitol, according to Republican Sen. Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma.
"I've known Mike Pence forever," Inhofe told reporters on Capitol Hill Wednesday night. "I've never seen Pence as angry as he was today."
"I had a long conversation with him. He said, 'After all the things I've done for [Trump].'"

It goes to show just how blinded by his office Mike Pence has been that after four years he still had not learned that loyalty with Trump is a one-way street.
