Man City wins in the final moments. Poor Villareal.

Napoli ended Udinese's unbeaten streak. First place by the end of the weekend looks very possible.

Giuseppe Rossi is out for six months for Villareal due to injury. I don't care about it being horrible for Villareal but this means he might not be fit for the Euros. Sad

What a crazy game !

After a Bayern hattrick (3 goals in a row by Gomez), it's now 3:2 anymore.

And there are also 2 red cards, 1 for each team.

Unfortunately, life as a campaign field director in the week before the election meant that I couldn't watch the game.  Sad

I saw it was 3-1 before the half. From being down by three in the first half to only losing by a goal away against Munich is acceptable.

The scoreline really flatters Napoli. And Cavani is a diving c-word.

He isn't Italian though.  Wink

That clown Babstuber was whining earlier today about how "the Italians" dive when things get tough and we're naturally hot-headed. Ok, maybe that's true but he was undoubtedly referring to the Argentines and Uruguayans on the team, not Italians. Thanks again for that equalizer goal in Naples, dude. Hope you enjoyed the red card, too.

I didn't get to see the game but Napoli's 0-0 draw at the San Paolo apparently should have been a blow out for us.  Sad  Hopefully, any holding back was an effort to save energy for an onslaught against Man City on Tuesday.

Today, Manchester City will be humbled before the greatest crowd in Italy.

One of the most unreal games of the season in Serie A right now. Napoli was up 2-0 then 3-1. It's now 3-3 with ten minutes to go.

Napoli up 3-0 at the half against Lecce. I don't think we can blow this lead. Smiley

Roma is spanked 0-3 in Florence while going down to eight men. Juventus continues their unbeaten streak after a scare from Cesena at home. Sad

Unless there is some disaster, Napoli will make history and move on to the Round of 16 today. Biggest game of the year in just under an hour.  Smiley

I am required to hope that Bayern at least draw in Manchester (so that it doesn't matter at all what Napoli does.) I hope you understand that this is a major sacrifice. Tongue

They better go up by about three goals before half so that I'm not even more anxious. I understand that's even more of a sacrifice but, hey, it's for a great cause.

After that first half, I really didn't think we were going to find a way through. I'm still in a state of euphoria.  Cheesy

Francesco Totti admits that he's open to leaving Roma. Truly stunning. When I first saw the story, I seriously thought it was a joke article.

Champions League knockout round draw tomorrow...at 5 AM. Thanks for the extremely early wake up, UEFA.  Tongue

Here's hoping Napoli gets Chelsea or APOEL. I have quite a few friends that are Chelsea fans so I'm really hoping that we meet them at some point. I'm sure everyone will want to face APOEL for obvious reasons. If I had one wish with this draw, though, it would be to avoid the two teams (no need to mention the names. It's understood).

And APOEL is already gone. Damn it.
