Bill Clinton continues to be useless to the democratic party. His vast campaigning in 2014 didn't change a single vote, and in 2016 he got people to switch to R.

Bill Clinton should still campaign for Democrats in 2018 and 2020. He's still fairly popular. He should campaign in New Jersey.

Yea, he is getting old. If he was elected in 2008, we may have had a President Palin.

He's running again in 2022, so Arizona Republicans may have to wait until 2028 or 2034 to get a chance at McCain's seat.

The forest fire has burned itself out.  What was tinder that remains is now charred wood that has little potential for further burning. The remaining moonscape of American politics will be open for new plants to germinate.  

Many politicians are going down for this -- those who rode the Republican waves of 2010 and  2014.

We'll see. Swing voters will probably make the decision. Base voters alone can't carry the day--for both parties.
