I understand the concerns made by Former Representative Joe Mad, but disagree. If anyone feels any need to propose an amendment to lessen the fines or sentencing I'd certainly be willing to consider, but in its current form I think the bill is sound.

I'll propose this amendment, to try and help ameliorate some of the concerns that have been brought up. Dereich, I would think we would simply define an "incurable STD" as an STD for which there is currently no known cure, would we not? Perhaps establishing a source for the curability like the CDC is what you're looking for? In that case, I could add that into my amendment.
