Opebo's right, this is a good article and it's definitely true. The only problem is that nobody is even willing to mentally approach the issue at hand, in true American fashion, until it's too late. Which arguably it already is...

any person who has seriously thought about it understands that the tendency of intelligent life is to destroy itself... my current problem is that, in reading the tea leaves, catastrophe would appear to be closer rather than further, almost certain to occur if I live to my estimated ~77 or so years of age.
