Spent a majority of my time there, did well in debates, ran effective ads with insights.

Remember the infobox I did about "The Spanish election, with American rules"?

Here is an attempt a similar concept for Germany (which was a bit harder to adapt but not that much)

And for fun here is the electoral map:

That is.... one hell of a PV/EV split.  But the hypothetical of a Trump/Harris administration is hilarious.

I'll make an election infobox of my stillborn Bloomberg TL with a few paragraphs of a synopsis when I have time.

I think that kind of split is actually quite possible. I'm prepared to be surprised. Say a 279 Biden victory, but he wins the PV by 7%. Idk.

Interesting idea, but what is Cheney appointed Sec. of State when he's running for the House in 1980? Why wouldn't Ford just find some other guy?

Also--a two-term Mondale presidency is intriguing

That's just a mistake. There is also, looking back on it, no reason that a Secretary of State would run for the House really. I would probably just eliminate his House service all together, looking back on it.

Maybe you could have Gale McGee win in 1976 and have Cheney pick up his open seat in 1982. Then again, Alan Simpson appears to have stepped down after one term, so I guess there's not much reason for Malcolm Wallop not to.

It definitely looks like a good TL.

The thought of Cheney running the show at the end of the Cold War & Desert Storm is pretty fascinating. Also a Jerry Brown led Democratic party would be so different from the IRL Clinton Dems.

Alternate 2016 election, in which McMuffin carries Utah and Hilldog wins the election with barely enough electoral votes and a weak popular vote mandate.

For my TL later down the road. Pretend it says Gubernatorial Election, not a Primary.
