Step 1: Republicans abolish marriage altogether in a sore loser fit.
Step 2: When no one is getting married anymore, Republicans claim they were right all along about a gay marriage decision destroying the institution of marriage.

The Fifth Circuit just ruled that Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana must comply with Obergfell. District courts in those states instructed to issue orders ending enforcement of same sex marriage bans.
