Ah. When I was a youngster, I was super-liberal without really knowing anything about anything. Oh, how things have changed...

I became a politics nerd at 11, and I thought I was precocious...

I don't think there was a specific moment when I became a political nerd. I have just become more and more of one throughout my life.

Same.  My progression over the years has basically been more and more conservative, with a bit of a blip a year ago or so.  At this rate, I'll be a full-fledged theocrat in a couple years. Tongue

Clinton2016, admit it, you hate gays!  You are a homophones or worst still you are Gay 100%...it makes sense; you weren't invited to those Gay parties that Rubio supposedly attends. ...I tell you what....you 'come out' and admit you take it up the a#@ from other bulls and I will get you hooked up to the Gay party circle you are so convinced Marco Rubio attends; also I presume you have concrete proof that Marco is a poof just like you are😊😂....so everyone CLINTON2016 is a queen!

I suppose his actions arguably spared South Africa of a fate as disastrous as her northern neighbors, but similar things could be said of Pétain.

Just a thought, I had to Google the word "frothy" in conjunction with the name Santorum to find out why the nickname is used.  Now I know.  This is why we need more limits on free speech.  I would completely support throwing that a-hole in jail on obscenity charges (speaking about the vermin who published it).  The fact that people can get away with doing things like this, is why this country is in a sewer of liberalism and filth.
As for Santorum naming Rubio's accomplishments, who cares?  Obama proved you don't need any accomplishments.  Just being an empty suit is enough!  Sure, Obama is smart, he's educated, he's elite.  But he never accomplished anything in the real world and is the least qualified person in any room he walks into!

Dan Savage is a terrible person though.

Gerrymandering (which is partially natural due to Democrats packing into cities) helps the people, as it allows most people to be represented by people who share their values.

Yes, because everyone is an extreme republican like yourself. Roll Eyes

We have to keep in mind that nothing is free.  Some way, some how it has to be paid for.  So basically healthy people are paying out the a$$ to cover the sick.  And also, health care is not and should not be a right.
If we let people pay for their own health care in a free market, costs would come down.  But if government is supplying it, costs will skyrocket and the quality will decline.

I didn't like any of them. Despite all the criticism of her Lena Dunham is actually a much better writer than Shakespeare ever was.

The more I think about it, the more I think it is likely that he was poisoned by an assassin hired by a public sector union. Remember, the SC was likely to rule forced public union dues unconstitutional later this year .

Hillary needs to pick a woman as her Veep.  By this point, if she picks a man as a running-mate, it would (and should) be viewed as an act of weakness, as if she is surrendering to the rampant (and blatant) misogyny being thrown at her every single day and night.

While I disagree with that post, it's nice to have a balance aganst the "Hillary NEEDS to choose a white guy!" rhetoric I've seen.

This poll and thread should be banned, because Trump is the only one in capital letters. Surely must be against the forum rules, if not it surely contradicts basic human decency of keeping it fair and not mess with fundamental democratic rules.
