The last two nights have been the most incredible nights of baseball I've ever seen. That Ohtani vs. Trout matchup was the stuff that dreams are made of.

Waino sung The Star-Spangled Banner (US National Anthem) today for the Cardinals home opener.

Wow, that was incredible. What can't this guy do?!

The Red Sox are 2-1 after scoring 9 runs in each of their first 3 games. If they keep that up, they will finish 108-54. Shouldn't be too hard.

Extrapolating from small sample sizes for the win. Wink

That's how all predictions work!

The Red Sox are currently on track to be swept at home by the Pittsburgh Pirates, something that has never happened in the history of baseball. The last time the Red Sox lost a series to the Pirates was in Pittsburgh during the 2014 season.

An interesting tidbit: the Red Sox and Pirates did not play each other during the regular season or postseason at all from 1904-2002.

Orioles fire broadcaster over an absolute nothingburger

This firing was so stupid. It is factually correct that the Orioles have struggled at Tropicana Park.

This is a massive stain on an otherwise great season for the Orioles. I don't think I've seen public opinion turn so quickly and so uniformly against an owner as has happened with Angelos. Which is a good thing, imo.

I don't pretend to know more about baseball than the managers, coaches, or players, but was it really that hard to deduce that the Phillies were not going to win sh*t by swinging at the first pitch as often as they did? And no lineup changes for games 6 and 7 despite the usual suspects failing to do much of anything?

Congrats to the D-Backs and Rangers. At least it won't be the Astros, Yankees, or Mets. That's good enough for me.

Adolis Garcia might be too good at baseball right now. He is so fun to watch.
